Frankincense, also called olibanum, is an aromatic resin used in incense and perfumes.

Frankincense has many healing and cleansing properties. Frankincense is harvested by semi-nomadic tribes in Ethiopia, who make a deep cut in the branches of the Boswellia papyrifera tree, and strip a small piece of bark below it. Sap wells up in the cut, and drips down to the stripped area, collecting there and drying into nodules. These are harvested from May to September, and sold as is.
When burnt Frankincense releases an aromatic smoke that helps to cleanse the air and reduce stress.

Caution: For fragrance purposes only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Never leave burning incense unattended and ensure all ashes fall into burners or holders
